Role & Schedule

We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking — 11 years old. KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum. Our classes run weekdays 9 am‑12 pm and evenings until 7 pm. On weekends we start at 9 am and run through lunch time. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required! Training hours are paid at $18 a hour, regular coaching hours start at $20 a hour. Coaches are eligible for periodic raises based on advancement.

Current Shift Openings

• Weekday evenings: 3:45 pm‑7:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:45 am‑12 pm, 1:30‑3:30 pm (as needed for parties), 4:30‑7 pm (as needed for parties)
• Sunday: 8:45 am‑12:30 pm, 1:30‑3:30 pm (as needed for parties), 4:30‑7 pm (as needed for parties)

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable!
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is a plus.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum is plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑starter who just gets a job done.

Compensation

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour (training $18 / hr, regular $20 / hr; periodic raises based on advancement).
