KidStrong Reno in Overland Park seeks a passionate and energetic KidStrong Coach to engage with children aged 1-11. The role involves coaching cognitive, physical, and character development using an evolving weekly curriculum, with opportunities to work during weekdays and weekends.
Ideal candidates should be 18 years or older, comfortable communicating with parents, and possess knowledge of exercise techniques. Must be CPR certified and motivated to create a positive impact.
KidStrong is Athletic Play – a new kind of activity for kids ages 1 - 11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches. KidStrong Overland Park is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.
We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 1-11. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum. Our classes run weekdays 9am-11am and evenings until 7pm. On weekends we start at 9AM and run through lunch time. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!
This position is Part‑Time. Most part‑time coaches coach 10-20 hours a week, sometimes more depending on the time of year and class schedule.
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
