Job summary

Amfamfit in Colonial Heights, VA seeks a Kids Zone Attendant to provide a safe, engaging environment for children from 6 weeks to 13 years. You will greet families, manage check-in/out, and coordinate activities while upholding club policies.

The role requires at least one year of childcare experience and CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire; attend meetings, follow safety procedures, and maintain daily logs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of childcare experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire (Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of customer service by greeting members with a welcoming, friendly, energetic attitude and using the member's name.
• Know and adhere to policies; follow safety and emergency procedures, and exercise sound judgment with safety as a priority.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Arrive 5 minutes early in proper uniform.
• Read and sign the communication log.
• Provide care for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years and supervise proper conduct.
• Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures for children.
• Review activity calendar and prepare for daily activities.
• Work in and perform duties required for assigned zone.
• Always supervise children attentively; avoid eating, cell phones, or reading during duties.
• Handle parent concerns and emergencies; fill accident/incident reports as needed.
• Communicate information to parents during pickup.
• Complete opening/closing/ cleaning checklists per management procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and record baby reservations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Input and manage weekly work schedule in the club scheduling platform with deadlines.
