Become a Travelnitch Guide:

If you're a current or former educator, this is the perfect side gig for you! Work with us to build a library of on-demand tours just for kids. These tours will make it easier for families to schedule travel time around work, school, and extracurriculars. It's also perfect for educators in the classroom, whether traditional or home school.

As the guide, you’ll be compensated for your time (up to $200 per video), and we’ll gratefully acknowledge your talents as we promote your tour on our website and across all of our social channels. We'll even include an optional link to your tips page!

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and record a virtual tour, roughly 8-10 minutes in length, that is both entertaining and educational for kids.
  • Maintain a lively energy throughout your tour, sharing the culture, food, people, language and/or landscape of your chosen destination.
  • Research and incorporate fun facts to keep our young explorers excited and engaged.
  • Help ensure every traveler—young or old—leaves with a positive, memorable experience.
  • Self-promote your tours to grow our following and your fanbase!

Qualifications:

  • Personable with excellent communication skills and a passion for the world.
  • Extensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for your destination.
  • Ability to work independently using the necessary tools to record and edit high-quality video tours.
  • Prior experience as an educator is preferred, but we may be willing to flex given the right personality.
  • Experience in a tour-related or entertainment industry is a plus!
