Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Supervisor to engage children ages three months to 11 years with safe, fun activities across the Academy and classes. You will greet guests, lead storytelling and crafts, and ensure a clean, safe environment while supporting program sales and staff coaching.

The role emphasizes customer service, strong communication, and the ability to engage a group of children, with certification requirements to be completed within the first two months of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience working with children and ability to engage a group.
• First Aid certification, CPR/AED for Infant/Child and Adult required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests professionally.
• Engages children in storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, and games.
• Maintains safe, healthy environment regarding toys, equipment, and surroundings.
• Maintains operational documentation, audits, and staffing cleanliness.
• Promotes Life Time Kids programs, products, and services.
• Completes team member evaluations and provides coaching when needed.

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills
