Job summary

Life Time Chesterfield is seeking a Kids Supervisor to lead safe, engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 11 years within the Academy and classes. You will greet members, guide interactive play, and ensure a clean, organized environment for all activities.

Responsibilities include promoting Life Time Kids programs, completing team evaluations, coaching staff, and maintaining safety standards while delivering storytelling, arts and crafts, singing and games.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid certification and CPR/AED within specified timelines.
• Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications required before start date.
• Completion of state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Engages children in activities like storytelling, crafts, singing and games.
• Maintains a safe, healthy environment around toys and equipment and monitors surroundings.
• Maintains operational documentation, audits and staffing checklists.
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Completes Team Member Evaluations and provides coaching as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills
