Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is hiring part-time coaches to lead sports classes for children aged 5–10 at elementary schools in the Bay Area. Sessions run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with about one hour per class and an extra 30 minutes pre-care. Pay is $50–$65 per session, with equipment provided.

Training/shadowing is required before starting; reliable transportation is needed. Applicants must be 19+, local, vaccinated, and willing to TB test and Live Scan; visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Must upload a photo and short biography to our website and describe sport experience.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Responsibilities

• Attend a 2‑day training or shadowing session before starting.


• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)


• Take attendance, manage student sign‑ins, and interact with parents/school staff.


• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application


• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.


• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required


• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting


• Flexible, reliable, and punctual


• Must have reliable transportation


• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work


• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

We do have openings for After School Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Dance, Yoga and Basketball.
