Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking enthusiastic part-time coaches to lead after-school sessions for children aged 5–10. Classes run Monday–Friday, typically one class per day (about one hour) with optional pre-care. Sessions occur at multiple Bay Area schools, with all equipment supplied and transportation required.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session. The role requires a 2-day training or shadow day prior to start, vaccination, and a Live Scan background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• reside locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience coaching or working with kids preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to TB test and Live Scan.
• Must submit photo and short biography for website upload.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.


• Attend a 2‑day training or shadowing session before starting.


• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)


• Take attendance, manage student sign‑ins, and interact with parents/school staff.


• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application


• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.


• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required


• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting


• Flexible, reliable, and punctual


• Must have reliable transportation


• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work


• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type: Part-time (2–5 hours per week) Pay: $50–$65 per session

We do have openings for After School Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Dance, Yoga and Basketball.
