Tyndale House Publishers is seeking a Kids Book Publishing Intern (Acquisitions) to join its team. You will support the Kids Team with market research, evaluate new project viability, and collaborate on publishing pitches to help publish literature that ministers to children and young adults worldwide.

Role emphasizes learning about acquisitions, research, and presenting ideas in a professional setting. Interviews begin November 2026; May 2027 internship start; on-site, 40 hours/week,

Responsabilités

• Research acquisition trends, industry sales numbers, high-profile authors, conferences in our market, and unrealized opportunities in the market; make recommendations based on findings.
• Help evaluate the potential of submitted manuscripts and proposals from agents and authors.
• Assist with reviewing publication committee pitches.
• Propose cross-functional action plans to bring new / emerging ideas to life.
• Participate in weekly 1:1 mentoring conversations with supervisor.
• Participate in bi-weekly proposal review meetings.
