Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 or more years of direct customer service experience, library experience preferred.
• Experience with or the desire to work with children and young adults.
• Knowledge of Children’s literature a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from the Children’s Department.
• Help patrons locate materials.
• Develop and implement Children’s programs.
• Contribute to outreach and collection development activities.
