Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging, educational fitness-oriented programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.

You will organize, instruct, and supervise activities, and may host parties or events as part of the role. The position requires First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within 60 days of hire, and completion of Kids On-Demand Learnings prior to start.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• Less than a High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities.
• Prepare for class and transfer children to and from programming.
• Maintain attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitor safety and manage equipment, toys, and surroundings.
• Use positive behavior management and communicate clearly with parents and team.
• Promote Junior programming to boost participation in Kids & Aquatics.
• Maintain Kids Academy and other areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
