Job summary

Crossroads Westminster is seeking a Kids Ministry Coordinator to lead childhood discipleship and family ministry at the campus level. The role focuses on relational volunteer leader development, behind-the-scenes administration, and equipping parents to act as primary disciplers throughout the week.

On Sundays, you will ensure environments are safe and welcoming, recruit and support volunteers, and collaborate with the Family Ministry Director to align programs with our mission and core values.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ministry, early childhood education, leadership, or related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and navigate volunteer environments for large family ministry events.
• Gifting: Aptitude for administration, shepherding, and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce Culture - Embrace Crossroads' culture within kids ministry environments; model core values in interactions with volunteers and families.
• Cultivate Volunteer Leadership - Recruit, onboard, and schedule volunteers; equip teams with clear expectations and best practices; ensure classrooms are staffed.
• Kids Connection & Caregiver Engagement - Welcome families, communicate about lessons, follow up with new families, and invite ongoing involvement.
• Execute initiatives and Events - Plan and execute campus events (dedications, seasonal events, gatherings) with strong organization.
• Collaboration & Alignment - Work with Campus Team and Family Ministry Director; align with Crossroads Kids systems, safety standards, and processes.
