Qualifications

• Demonstrates Christ-centered, joy-filled passion for ministry and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Experience planning and executing events for children or families.
• Ability to supervise, inspire, and equip volunteers.
• Proven ability to work well with a team and build community.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, fun, community-based programming for kids on weekends and build authentic community among kids, families, and volunteers.
• Create opportunities for families to grow closer to Jesus through events that foster community and connections.
• Meet regularly with the Family Minister for debrief and planning
• Attend weekly Hope West Des Moines staff meetings
• Maintain presence at church-wide and children's ministry events as assigned
• Support the mission, vision, values, and multi-site ministry of Lutheran Church of Hope
