Bright Horizons in San Ramon, CA, seeks a Cook to plan and prepare nutritious, family-style meals that support children’s health, growth, and learning. You will follow approved menus, ensure food safety, and work with center staff to support daily meal service.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks; 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Food handler certification required within 30 days.
• Nutrition coursework or certification preferred.
• Experience in childcare, school cafeteria, or high-volume kitchens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced, family-style meals and snacks per menus and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen following health procedures.
• Manage inventory and place orders with approved vendors.
