Job summary

The Little Gym International in New York is seeking energetic instructors to lead or assist gymnastics classes for children aged 4 months to 12 years, following our proven curriculum and lesson plans.

You will create a warm, fun, and educational atmosphere, promote progress, ensure safety, and deliver outstanding customer service to families. Training and development opportunities are available, with a competitive hourly rate of $16–$20.

Qualifications

• Background in childhood education/development, coaching or physical education is helpful.
• Experience coaching or leading activities for children preferred.
• Familiarity with gymnastics or movement-based programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist gymnastics classes for children 4 months to 12 years, following lesson plans.
• Create a warm, fun, educational environment in every class.
• Evaluate students' progress and provide tailored feedback.
• Ensure safety protocols and correct spotting techniques are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym area.
• Participate in staff trainings and development opportunities.
