Job summary

My Gym Children’s Fitness Center in Frisco, TX is seeking a Lead Coach who loves children and brings energy to classes, parties, camps, and events. You will lead and train team members, deliver engaging sessions, and ensure a fun, safe experience for kids and parents alike.

Ideal candidates are available 15–25 hours weekly, including weekends, possess strong communication and customer service skills, and can pass a background check and drug screening. Prior related experience is preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for people who genuinely love children and are fun and outgoing. As a Lead Coach, you will be expected to lead and train other team members. You will be leading classes, parties, camps, and events.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work 15-25 hours per week, including weekends
• Strong interpersonal skills – high-spirited, helpful, welcoming
• Effective communication skills – thorough with instructions with children, timely and thorough information to parents, appropriate escalation skills to the director, assistant director, and coworkers, excellent verbal and written skills
• Effective team lead and motivational skills – demonstrate time management skills, room management, motivating in a positive manner
• Exceptional Customer Service skills (with parents, children, walk-ins, responding courteously and professionally, focused on building and supporting the gym)
• Basic administrative and organizational skills – attentive to schedules/appointments and gym organization
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Bring energy, drive, and hustle to the team
• 1 year of experience working with children in an active environment (preferred, but not required)– types of prior experience: cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, coaching, theater lend well to training
