Journey Church is seeking a Kids Coordinator to oversee the weekend experience for Journey Kids, from infants to pre-5th grade, at the Lake Worth campus. The role leads volunteer teams, maintains a welcoming environment in the Welcome Room, and ensures safety and age-appropriate engagement across classrooms each week.

The position emphasizes clear communication with families, development of volunteers, and collaboration with the Kids team to support events and curriculum delivery at the campus.

Qualifikationen

• Multiple years’ experience in ministry or church vocational work is preferred.
• Experience in a multisite church.
• Experience in organizing multiple projects and events.
• Organized; flexible; able to Multitask.
• Exemplary oral & written skills.

Aufgaben

• Champion the Vision and Culture of Journey Kids and reflect the mission in every environment.
• Lead and oversee the Kids Weekend Experience with safety and age-appropriate engagement.
• Lead and oversee the Welcome Room Teams and environment for families.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop volunteer leaders with clear workflows.
• Care for volunteers through regular check-ins and ongoing trainings to keep leaders engaged.
• Manage environments: ensure rooms are cleaned, stocked, and prepped weekly.
• Build trust with families and communicate clearly to help families feel welcomed.
