Job summary

Amazing Athletes in California is seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach fundamentals of 10 sports to children aged 2 to 12 in year-round classes. Classes run 9:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with Saturday options, and multiple positions are available.

You will foster a fun, engaging learning environment, plan age-appropriate activities, and communicate with parents to ensure a positive experience for families.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive and reliable.
• Passion for sports/fitness and working with children.
• Prior experience working with children is a plus!
• Background in fitness a plus! (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy
• Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses
• Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families
• Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized

Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12 and offer classes year-round. Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple positions available.

Salary:

Compensation starts at $25 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.

Responsibilities:
