Job summary

Amazing Athletes is seeking enthusiastic instructors in Burlingame, CA to teach children ages 2–12 in after-school and daytime blocks. Classes run 9:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday options available. Multiple positions are open, offering $25–$40 per hour based on experience and commitment.

Instructors will promote physical literacy, plan activities, and coordinate with parents. A valid driver’s license and background check are required, with travel to local schools as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to local schools.
• Experience working with children is a plus (preschool teachers, camp counselors, etc.).
• Background in fitness is a plus (athletics, sports, dance, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports (soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, golf).
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy.
• Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses.
• Engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families.
• Maintain and organize class materials and equipment.

Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple positions available.

Salary:

Compensation starts at $25 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Passion for sports/fitness and working with children.
• Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, etc.)
