Job summary

Amazing Athletes in Burlingame seeks energetic instructors to teach fundamentals of 10 different sports to children ages 2 to 12. Classes run year-round in blocks from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday options.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to local schools, pass a background check, and bring a passion for sports and working with kids. Compensation starts at $25 per hour and can go up to $40 per hour depending on experience.

• Prior experience with children is a plus.
• Background in fitness is a plus.

Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12 and offer classes year-round. Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple positions available.

Salary:

Compensation starts at $25 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy
• Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses
• Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families
• Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized

• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive and reliable.
• Passion for sports/fitness and working with children.
• Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, etc.)
• Background in fitness a plus! (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)
