Job description

The Kids Crunch Attendant supervises all children checked into the Kids Crunch department of a Crunch Fitness facility. The KCA works to build an environment of cleanliness and safety that our members can trust.

Expectations

• Provide a friendly atmosphere for members and children
• Ensure proper registration and check-out of children and parents
• Watch and care for children to ensure safety
• Engage with children through games, arts, and crafts
• Assist in feeding babies or helping older children eat, following parental instructions
• Clean and sanitize childcare toys
• Keep the work area free of sharp or harmful objects
• Answer childcare phone calls
• Communicate information about children to parents/guardians
• Recommend toys, educational tools, etc.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or escalate to management
• Be aware of club facilities and services
• Assist in delegated projects by management
• Adhere to the Team Member Handbook policies
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management

Position Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications required by local/state laws
• Complete and pass a background check
• Ability to lift 10 lbs occasionally
• Stand, bend, and squat frequently
• Climb and hang decorations when needed

Employment Eligibility

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and maintain eligibility throughout employment
