Job summary

Christ Fellowship is seeking a Kids Coordinator to support the Campus Kids Ministry, leading a volunteer team and ensuring a safe, engaging weekend experience for children. The role is full-time and requires weekend hours and some nights, reporting to the Christ Fellowship Kids Coordinator.

Ideal candidates have a college degree (or in progress) with a focus in early childhood or elementary education and at least 1 year of kids ministry experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a kids' ministry environment (staff or volunteer).
• College graduate or in progress; focus in early childhood or elementary education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select and develop a volunteer team for Christ Fellowship Kids.
• Prepare and distribute weekend resources for weekend experience.
• Grow campus attendance via Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
• Ensure safe, fun, meaningful, engaging weekend experiences for kids.
• Assist in planning and executing events and spiritual milestones.
• Support supervision of midweek programming.
• Contribute to Central Team initiatives with Kids Directors.

JOB SUMMARY:The Christ Fellowship Kids Coordinator supports the Campus Kids Ministry with leadership and care of children in all phases. This is a full-time position, including weekends and some nights, and reports to the Christ Fellowship Kids Coordinator.

JOB DUTIES:

• Selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
• Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
• Growing campus attendance by implementing our Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
• Ensuring the overall weekend experience for kids is done with excellence in a safe, fun, meaningful, and engaging environment.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of events and spiritual milestones.
• Supporting the supervision of midweek programming during the week as directed.
• Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
• Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.

EDUCATION:

College graduate, or degree in progress; a focus in early childhood or elementary education is a plus.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

Experienced with 1 year in a kids' ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
