We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves children, and has a heart to see the next generation grow in their relationship with God. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who enjoys developing and encouraging volunteers, creating engaging biblical lessons, and cultivating an environment where children feel loved, valued, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
The Kids Community Director will oversee the overall coordination, development, and spiritual direction of our children's ministry (Elementary age). This is a part-time, paid position averaging 10 hours per week, including Sunday morning ministry oversight, weekly lesson preparation, volunteer scheduling, and ministry coordination. Occasional special events and meetings may require flexibility.
At New Community Church, we believe children are not just the church of tomorrow; they are an important part of the church today! We are looking for a leader who shares this heart and is excited to help children build a lasting foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.
