Job Description

Position: Kids College & Summer Camps – Lead Instructor and Instructor

The Lead Instructor works under supervision of the Director of Workforce and Community Education and is responsible for directing instructional and recreational activities involving participants in Kid’s College. This position is governed by institution policy.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Developing lesson plans and programs for teaching social and educational skills to school-aged children through age-appropriate activities.
  2. Instructing children to develop social and intellectual potentials across various educational topics.
  3. Providing personal care for children as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  4. Maintaining logs, schedules, and records related to children’s activities and development.
  5. Supervising recreational and special activities, providing guidance to assistants.
  6. Cleaning classrooms and recreational areas.
  7. Requesting necessary supplies for instructional and recreational use.
  8. Greeting parents, guardians, and visitors.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Certified Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of subject matter and age-appropriate educational planning and teaching techniques. Other related education or experience may be substituted upon approval. Must demonstrate a commitment to cooperative work and quality customer service. Position is subject to a pre-employment background check, conducted confidentially and in compliance with law.
