Job summary

A children's coding center in Shreveport is seeking a team member to create a positive and safe environment for students. Responsibilities include mentoring children, following daily opening/closing duties, and maintaining dojo cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children and the general public. Compensation is $10.00 per hour, with a fast-paced work environment where tasks may change frequently.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.).
• Experience working with the general public.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or child care.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
• Work with children to determine skill sets.
• Follow opening/closing duties daily.
• Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards.
• Report weekly to Center Director on progress.
• Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day’s activities and productivity in dojo.
