Code Ninjas Harrisburg-Mechanicsburg seeks an energetic instructor to mentor children, review curricula, and maintain a positive learning environment. You will assess each child’s skill level and provide feedback to parents after sessions, while following daily opening/closing duties and keeping the classroom clean.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 5+ (mentoring, coaching, tutoring).
• Experience interacting with the general public.
• Experience teaching, mentoring or child care.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology, or able to quickly learn basic concepts.
• Fun to work with; adaptable to fast-paced environments with changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train by reviewing the curriculum.
• Create a positive and safe learning environment.
• Work with children to determine skill levels.
• Provide feedback to parents after sessions.
• Follow opening/closing duties daily.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness according to corporate standards.
• Report weekly to Center Assistant Manager on progress.
• Report daily to Center Manager on daily activities and productivity.
