Job summary

KidStrong in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a part-time Childrens Coach to lead classes for ages 12 months through 11 years, delivering the company curriculum with energy and safety.

You will work in a fast-paced studio, greet families, monitor pace, record attendance in the Coach app, attend trainings, and collaborate with staff to support children’s physical, brain and character development.

Flexible schedule with growth opportunities. Training and uniforms are provided, and staff meetings are required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with children.
• Prior experience coaching children aged 12 months to 11 years.
• Experience speaking to and educating parents about the curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who gets the job done.

Responsibilities

• Coach classes of 6–15 children, ages 12 months to 11 years.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and maintain pace.
• Greet students and parents before class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, professional demeanor.
• Demonstrate and manage exercises.
• Keep center clean; sanitize equipment.
• Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and attendance.
• Communicate with coworkers via Slack.
• Complete required training through FranConnect.
• Work in a physically intensive environment.
• Hands-on with children for safety.
• Assist parents of younger children with class flow.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
• Learn and manage academy special classes.
• Obtain certified status by HQ Training & Certification.
