Job summary

YSS's Kids Club program at Ledges Elementary School in Iowa is seeking energetic, caring Program Assistants to help create a safe, engaging environment for elementary-age children before and after school and on no-school days.

As a Program Assistant, you'll lead games, assist with homework, supervise snacks, and partner with families and school staff to support each child's growth. This part-time role offers meaningful impact and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within three months of hire.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.
• Dependable, patient, and energetic with strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience babysitting, tutoring, coaching, teaching, mentoring, or caring for children is a plus.
