Job summary

The Pinery Country Club in Parker, CO is seeking a part-time Kids Club staffer. The role involves supervising children, planning activities, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for members and guests on Friday evenings and weekends.

Applicants must have a current First Aid/CPR/AED card, strong childcare and customer service skills, and be flexible with evenings and weekends. Training for certifications will be provided as needed.

• Willingness to learn and perform new child care programs and activities; excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility with schedule; evenings and weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision: Ensure the safety of children and maintain a secure environment.
• Organization: Plan activities such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and singing.
• Maintenance: Keep equipment and facilities clean and well-maintained.
• Sign-in and sign-out: Manage the sign-in and sign-out sheets.
• Childcare: Provide childcare, including paging parents if needed.
• Recognizes and resolves individual or group issues or problems.
• Set up and take down of supplies and space.
• Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest and maintain guest relations.
• Perform special projects delegated by management.

SUMMARY

Kids Club provides a supervised space designed to engage children in fun, educational and age-appropriate activities. Kids Club provides a safe environment where kids can socialize, learn and play while exploring creative projects, games, or team building exercises. Kids Club includes, dinner, arts and crafts, games and if the weather permits outside adventures.

Essential Functions

• Supervision: Ensure the safety of children and maintain a secure environment
• Organization: Plan activities, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and singing
• Maintenance: Keep equipment and facilities clean and well-maintained
• Sign-in and sign-out: Manage the sign-in and sign-out sheets
• Childcare: Provide childcare, including paging parents if needed

• Performs special projects delegated by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Applicants must hold a current First Aid/CPR/AED card. We will provide training for certifications. Proven child care skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new child care programs and activities, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Wages

Wages $16 – $19.00/Per Hour This position is part-time, requiring Friday Evening availability.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $15.16 - $26.00
