Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Fitness Growth Capital is seeking a childcare associate to support members’ children within the gym environment. The role involves supervision, safety, and coordination of activities to ensure a welcoming experience for families.

Responsibilities include checking in/out children, supervising playtime, organizing crafts, and maintaining safety standards. Training will cover CPR, safety practices, and gym policies; reporting to management as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly atmosphere for members and children
• Register and check-out of children & parents, watch and care for children to ensure safety
• Interact with children and initiate games, arts & crafts projects
• Bottle-feed babies or assist in eating needs of older children per parental direction
• Keep children calm and safe at all times
• Clean and sanitize childcare toys
• Keep workspace safe and free of sharp objects; answer childcare phone
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians; provide toy/educational tool recommendations
• Know and follow all policies, procedures, and standards; facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Know club facility and services; assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Position may report to Assistant Manager or Assistant General Manager where applicable
• Follow all policies in Employee Handbook; position description may change
