Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Fitness Growth Capital is seeking a dedicated Child Care Associate to support members and their children at our club. You will register children, monitor safety, and create a welcoming, engaging environment while following all club policies.

Responsibilities include supervising play activities, assisting with meals for younger children, coordinating crafts, and communicating with parents about children's needs. A CPR certification and experience with kids are required.

Qualifications

• Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly atmosphere for members and children
• Register and check out children and parents
• Ensure child safety and watchful care of children
• Interact with children through engaging activities
• Initiate games and arts & crafts
• Assist with feeding needs for babies/young children as directed
• Keep children calm and comfortable
• Clean and sanitize childcare toys
• Keep the work area free of hazards
• Answer childcare phone and respond to inquiries
• Share relevant information about children with parents/guardians
• Recommend toys and educational tools to support development
• Follow all club policies, procedures and standards
• Support managers and assist with delegated projects
• Familiarize yourself with club facilities and services
• May report to Assistant Manager or AGM where applicable
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and acknowledge possible changes
