The Quarto Group, a global illustrated book publisher, seeks a Marketing & Publicity Assistant for its Children's Marketing team. This hybrid role in Beverly, MA supports campaigns connecting books with educators, librarians, booksellers, media and influencers.

Ideal candidates are organized, deadline-driven, and fluent in digital marketing. This entry-level position offers growth in social media, publicity, and consumer marketing within a supportive publishing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, publicity, publishing, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and current digital marketing trends.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and enthusiasm for developing innovative marketing ideas.

Responsibilities

• Execute digital marketing campaigns: social media, email, influencer outreach.
• Plan and manage social media across Quarto Kids channels.
• Manage U.S. social media presence and newsletters.
• Coordinate award submissions for children's titles.
• Produce press releases, media kits, pitch lists, ads.
• Plan mailings to media, influencers, booksellers, educators.
• Maintain marketing, publicity, and contact databases.
• Analyze campaign performance and audience engagement.
• Communicate marketing updates across the company.
• Provide admin support to the Children's Marketing team.
