Job summary

Kidcreate Studio Brownsville is seeking creative, energetic individuals who love kids and art. This part-time role involves assisting teachers, preparing materials, and keeping the studio tidy. You will help kids with art projects, manage supplies, and support a fun, safe classroom environment.

Flexible scheduling supports school and family commitments. Typical hours are 5–15 per week with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 years or older.
• Must have at least 3 days of weekday availability within either 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
• Must be willing to work weekends and some mornings/evenings, including Sundays.
• Comfortable working with kids ages 18 months–12 years.
• Ability to work independently and jump in to help.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing for classes and during classes; keep studio and materials clean, neat, and organized.
• Help kids with their art and science projects and cheer them on.
• Prepare materials ahead of class and activities; hand out supplies and organize materials.
• Support classroom management to ensure safety and fun for all.
• Assist with set-up before class and clean-up after activities; lead peers in keeping studio neat and organized.
