Job summary

Kidcreate Studio Wixom, MI is seeking energetic art instructors to teach kids aged 18 months to 12 years both in our Wixom studio and at mobile locations around the community.

You’ll lead hands-on classes, create a welcoming environment, and help children explore creativity while you build confidence and have fun. Training is provided and there are opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Energetic and positive attitude with kids.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Willingness to be on feet and move around all day.
• Reliable transportation is required for mobile programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging art classes, camps, workshops, birthday parties, and events for ages 18 months to 12 years.
• Teach at the Wixom studio and mobile locations in surrounding communities.
• Create a fun, safe, positive environment where children feel successful.
• Encourage creativity, build confidence, and help each child feel like an artist.
• Prepare, organize, and clean up materials before and after each class.
• Follow lesson plans while bringing energy and creativity to every class.
• Maintain classrooms, supplies, and materials for the next session.
• Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, school staff, and teammates.
• Represent Kidcreate Studio with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Enjoy a bit of mess—paint, clay, glitter, and slime are part of the fun!
