Job summary

Kidcreate Studio-Cypress, TX is seeking enthusiastic Children’s Art Instructors to teach our Kidcreate Academy curriculum. You will guide students through drawing and painting techniques in a fun, supportive environment that builds real artistic skills over time.

The position offers 10–25 hours per week, flexible scheduling, paid training, and supplied lesson plans and materials. Prior classroom experience with kids is preferred, and a portfolio may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in drawing, painting, color theory, and composition.
• A PDF art portfolio of 5–10 works or a portfolio website demonstrating the above skills.
• Experience teaching or working with children and ability to lead groups in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time.
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques.
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps.
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students.
