Job summary

Mad Engine, LLC is seeking a Product Development Manager for the Kids category in Burbank. You will lead end-to-end development from design handoff through production readiness, coordinating with Design, Sales, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production to hit cost targets and calendar deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in kids apparel, deep knowledge of CPSIA compliance, and experience with licensed, branded, and private label programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of apparel product development experience with Kids apparel.
• Experience managing licensed, branded, and private label programs.
• Strong knowledge of CPSIA regulations and retailer compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development for Kids apparel from design handoff to production readiness.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Sales to plan seasonal assortments.
• Manage development calendars with major retailers (Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Costco, Sam's Club).
• Review fabrics, trims, lab dips, and pre-production samples for quality and brand standards.
• Monitor development progress with overseas factories to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and drive program risk mitigation.
