Job summary

Cedars-Sinai's Kidney Transplant Team is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to work independently coordinating studies, screening potential patients for protocol eligibility, presenting non-medical trial concepts, and participating in the informed consent process.

You will ensure accurate source documents, data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting, including timely responses to sponsor queries. This role supports trial reporting and protocol activity analyses.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical research related experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Sociology or related field preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Research (SOCRA or ACRP) upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independent study coordination including screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility and involvement in informed consent.
• Schedule patients for research visits and procedures.
• Document changes in patient condition, adverse events, and protocol compliance on Case Report Forms.
• Maintain accurate source documents and data entry for sponsor queries.
• Coordinate monitoring visits, SIVs, COVs, and auditing activities.
• Communicate with sponsors regarding exceptions and protocol clarifications.
• Prepare and present study information at research staff meetings.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, IRB, and HIPAA requirements.
