Job summary

In-Shape Fitness in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Kid Zone Lead to manage daily operations of our Kid Zone programs and lead a dedicated team of caregivers. You will oversee staff scheduling, onboarding, and program oversight to deliver a safe, engaging environment for children and families.

The role emphasizes strong communication with parents, adherence to safety policies, and creating a positive member experience while promoting healthy habits and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Preschool or daycare experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication with parents and guardians.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety policies and supervising activities in Kid Zone.
• Monitor activities of children and Kid Zone team members throughout shifts.
• Schedule staff, onboard new team members, and coordinate program oversight.
• Organize activities and events to engage children and families.
• Ensure adherence to In-Shape Clean Approach and maintain area organization.
