Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Erie is hiring a Kid Zone Attendant at our County Location. This role offers a chance to work with children aged 6 weeks to 8 years in a safe, engaging environment while members exercise.

The position is up to 19 hours per week with shifts Monday through Friday and weekends. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement options, PTO, a free YMCA membership, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide safe, supervised care for children.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR Pro and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and a physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, and positive care for children ages 6 weeks to 8 years while members work out or take classes.
• Maintain a clean, organized Kid Zone area and follow YMCA emergency procedures.
• Engage with children through activities, reading, singing, and play while ensuring safety standards.
