Job summary

• Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Kia certification(s) and ASE certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and other makes as assigned.
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, HVAC, and brake system concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend needed repairs and maintenance.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, technical service information, and repair manuals.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in Kia and dealership training programs.

Position: Automotive Service Technician

Compensation: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, certifications, productivity, and qualifications.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000, based on relevant Kia certifications, technical experience, and demonstrated skill level. Sign-on bonus details and eligibility requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform automotive repair activities throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and greater weights with assistance or equipment.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.

Schedule

Full-time position with availability during dealership operating hours. Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
