Job Purpose

KHI Construction Foremen are key to success, representing the company on-site while managing workers, subcontractors, material deliveries, and schedules. They lead small teams on projects ranging from equipment installation to operating room renovations, ensuring effective planning, communication, and execution. Foremen also serve as the company's face to clients, handling administrative tasks and fostering trust for repeat business.

Foremen must be construction experts, capable of leading diverse teams, setting high standards, and maintaining accountability. Essential qualities include:

• Industry experience and knowledge
• Blueprint reading skills
• Understanding of building codes (electrical, fire suppression, medical gas, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma (College degree preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Leadership experience (3+ years preferred)
• Willingness to travel extensively (80%+)
• Teamwork in equipment installation
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage systems
• Blueprint interpretation and scope management
• Ability to adapt to scope changes and request change orders
• Availability for evening/weekend work (nationwide)
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 70 pounds
