Role Description

The Keyholder is a part-time, on-site role based at 50 EAST SHOES in Allen, TX. This role includes opening and closing the store, handling keys and alarms, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and customer-ready. Day-to-day responsibilities involve greeting customers, providing knowledgeable footwear recommendations, processing sales and returns, and maintaining product displays and inventory accuracy. The Keyholder supports the store’s customer experience standards by delivering friendly, attentive service and resolving basic customer concerns. This position also assists with cash handling, following store policies, and supporting other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Product Knowledge skills, including the ability to learn and explain features, fit, and benefits of premium footwear brands.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with customers, teammates, and management.
• Candidates should possess Retail Sales skills, with the ability to guide purchases, use POS systems, and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, focusing on creating a welcoming environment and resolving issues professionally.
• Previous experience in retail or footwear is beneficial, along with basic cash-handling skills and reliability in opening/closing responsibilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
