Job Title: Key Hourly / Shift Lead

Supervisor: General Manager

Green District is a fast-casual salad restaurant founded in Louisville, KY. We are looking for a leader that will help build an exciting and fun culture in our store. At Green District, we want to foster an inclusive & positive atmosphere for our employees and customers.

This position offers a flexible schedule, development opportunities, and a great company culture. As a part of the GD Team, this person will learn the daily business operations and have the opportunity to be a part of the growth and expansion of GD into 5 new markets in the next year!

Summary

Assist in managing the daily business operations of the store by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Employee training & coaching
  • Unloading truck shipments
  • Food preparation
  • Assisting with scheduling
  • Customer service
  • Cleaning & sanitizing
  • Ordering and inventory management
  • Upholding company initiatives
  • POS system management
  • Other various operational responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but could indirectly manage and train Salad Enthusiasts.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Previous leadership or training experience preferred

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of electronic tablets. An individual should have fast and accurate data entry skills.
