Job summary

Jungle Boys Florida is seeking a Key Holder to lead daily cannabis retail operations in Florida. You will support the Store Manager, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive exceptional patient experiences.

The role requires 1–2 years of leadership in cannabis, strong cash handling, and proficiency with POS and inventory software. Expect open availability, including holidays and weekends, in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age and compliance with local/state/company regulations.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in cannabis/retail/hospitality.
• Strong operational skills and experience with cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and compliance-related tasks.
• Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts for cannabis products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and dispensations in compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Receive and manage incoming/outgoing shipments as needed.
• Onboard and train new team members under Store Manager guidance.
• Stay informed on product launches, regulations, and patient allotment requirements.
• Act as manager-on-duty, handling opening, closing, and mid-day tasks and cash handling.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to meet goals in service, sales, and efficiency.
• Uphold all policies, procedures, and security measures to safeguard inventory.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy in patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily store operations, including inventory organization, product placement, and compliance-related tasks
• Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts for cannabis products in the facility
• Maintain accurate inventory and dispensations in compliance with state laws and regulation
• Receive and assume responsibility for incoming/outgoing product shipments as the business requires
• Help onboard and train new team members under the guidance of the Store Manager
• Maintain familiarity with product launches, new regulations, and patient allotment requirements
• Responsible manager-on-duty as assigned; performs all opening, closing, and mid-day tasks, including inventory functions and cash handling
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to help meet store goals related to service, sales, and operational efficiency
• Ensure all workplace policies and procedures are followed while acting as manager-on-duty
• Must promote an environment of compliance with all documented security procedures and safeguarding inventory against diversion
• Maintain strict privacy and HIPPA policy requirements during patient interaction

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state and company regulations
• Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of cannabis, retail, or hospitality leadership to include:
• Strong operation skills and comprehension of significant cash handling
• Inventory Management to include merchandising, logistics, and investigation tasks
• Comprehension of Florida Cannabis Regulations and Allotment compliance is a plus
• Open availability including holidays, evenings, and weekends
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, POS, and inventory management software.
