This role utilizes a consultative selling approach, assuming overall responsibility for pursuing new customers to meet revenue goals. The incumbent manages each new sale opportunity from prospecting to close, focusing on high‑quality information, creative problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration. Responsibilities include strategic prospect pool management, quote administration, and partnership development with prospects and brokers to cultivate mutually beneficial sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Close new sales and maximize financial gain for each deal.
  • Proactively manage a prospect pool to drive tailored solutions, balancing client needs with business goals.
  • Develop and execute new sale strategies and rate recommendations based on financial analysis, aiming for win‑win outcomes.
  • Apply analytical skills and lead deal tactics in collaboration with cross‑functional peers.
  • Create effective pitches and deliver impactful presentations (in‑person and virtual) to articulate product value.
  • Act as primary contact and liaison between brokers and internal teams to ensure an exceptional buying experience.
  • Build high‑quality partnerships with external stakeholders through strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Lead RFP response development, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, and comprehensive bid presentation.
  • Gather and report competitive intelligence to inform product development and market positioning.
  • Maintain a two‑plus‑year pipeline outlook, driving revenue growth and managing sales tools such as Salesforce, Highspot, and LinkedIn while ensuring data hygiene.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 50% travel, including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays.
  • Use of personal vehicle; travel expenses to be sustained with the company.
  • Advanced business math and analytical skills to position products & pricing to meet revenue targets.
  • Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
  • Ability to manage overlapping priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Independent, resourceful, and requires minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including formal business presentations.
  • Effective communication with all organizational levels in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced problem‑solving skills and cross‑functional collaboration to resolve issues.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce CRM.
Licenses
  • Health license required within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license required upon hire.
Base Pay Information

Pay Grade 18: $56,900 - $119,200 plus uncapped commission earnings.
