Job Description

General Description:

Under the direction of the Regional Field Manager (RFM), this individual will be responsible for maximizing BeiGene's products in the served territory. The Key Account Manager (KAM) implements the marketing strategy in the area and is responsible for achieving defined sales targets within an agreed expense budget. Additionally, the KAM supports and advises key account customers in the territory in an open-minded and honest manner.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  1. Build BeiGene's brand awareness and image in the immune-oncology market within the served area.
  2. Provide scientific and distribution expert advice and support to hospital pharmacists and medical immune-oncologists in hospitals and PBOs.
  3. Be responsible for regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters as agreed with the RFM.
  4. Develop, implement, and execute commercial projects to optimize patient care, collaborating with key customers using project management principles.
  5. Identify, plan, and execute projects supporting distribution and implementation of BeiGene’s drugs in collaboration with Market Access, Customer Engagement, and other relevant functions.
  6. Organize and execute local symposia and workshops with key customers.
  7. Participate in and provide customer care at local, national, and international meetings and symposia.
  8. Ensure all activities comply with high ethical standards and align with our values.
  9. Operate in accordance with BeiGene’s Standards of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience, including pharmacy and health economics.
  2. 5+ years of qualified experience as a commercial representative in oncology and hospital markets or similar roles.
  3. Experience with pricing-based differentiation and distribution in hospital markets is desirable.
  4. Specific knowledge and network in (immuno)oncology, especially with key customers in relevant indications, particularly immune-oncology/PD1-inhibition.
  5. Knowledge of drug distribution structures and channels, especially in hospitals and hospital pharmacies.
  6. Strong alignment with BeiGene’s values and mission.
  7. High social competence and teamwork skills.
  8. Motivated, solution-oriented, and positive attitude.
  9. Willingness to learn and develop continuously through on-the-job training, coaching, and courses.
  10. Proven success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  11. Marketing, project management, and digital skills.
  12. Customer-focused, with strong implementation skills.
  13. Intermediate English, fluent or native German speaker.
  14. Willingness to travel at least 60%, with a valid driver’s license.
