Description

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Director, the Key Account Manager is dedicated to a specific Major Distributor account and is responsible for directing and coordinating the execution of plans/programs with Field Sales. Works closely with the Regal Rexnord Motion Control Solutions and Commercial and Industrial Motors Regional Sales Directors, MCS District Managers, and Manufacturers' Representative Sales team to achieve established objectives. Is accountable for RRX MCS and Commercial and Industrial Motors total sales, programs, and activities for the specified Major Distributor account.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans that include new and existing sales strategies for a large or multiple smaller accounts.
  2. Drive a cross-regional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts and expand relationships with national distributor accounts.
  3. Gather detailed account information, identify decision-makers, understand strategic business challenges and priorities, especially for significant accounts spanning multiple Regal businesses or geographies; lead the team in analyzing this information and prioritizing opportunities critical to success.
  4. Work daily with CRM to input and analyze activities across national accounts, utilizing dashboards to communicate progress against objectives.
  5. Promote and lead CRM and Documented Cost Savings initiatives, communicating Regal's value propositions to national accounts.
  6. Ensure professional sales coordination and account planning; resolve account ownership issues related to national accounts.
  7. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
  8. Adhere to all company policies, values, procedures, and ethical standards.
  9. Conduct oneself professionally, demonstrating personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and good work habits.
  10. Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Technical, Business, or Marketing fields preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in Power Transmission & Bearings Industry preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM Management, and business software applications.

Pay Transparency: $125,000 to $140,000 base salary plus variable compensation.
