Overview
Location: Pacific Northwest. PepsiCo Sales is a large portfolio of food and beverage brands.
Responsibilities
- The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Retail Sales is responsible for executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts.
- Execute a selling strategy and manage key customer relationships, including negotiating customer agreements.
- Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts using fact‑based selling methods.
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
- Develop an annual promotion plan, adhering to guidelines, and ensure flawless execution through consistent customer engagement.
- Make regular headquarter buyer calls, identify customer needs and priorities, and create fact‑based selling presentations for assigned retail accounts.
- Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure customers are complying with contract requirements.
- Participate in customer payment processing, including financial contracts, performance, and collection.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.
Compensation and Benefits
- Expected compensation range: $73,400 – $122,850, with location, skills, experience and education considered.
- Bonus based on performance; target payout 15% of annual salary paid annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or
- 3–5 years of fact‑based selling experience.
- Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment.
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow‑up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Indefinite right to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred.
