Key Account Manager Convenience National Accounts

Location: 100% remote with 40% travel.

Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone, preferably near a major airport.

As a Key Account Manager for the Convenience National Sales Team, you will play a key role in developing and growing BIC products within the North American Commercial organization. You will contribute to BIC’s values and vision by maximizing long-term brand volume while achieving sales and profit goals.

Your responsibilities include communicating and implementing BIC national initiatives, policies, and standards across cross-functional teams, and translating customer needs into effective business-building programs.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Meet or exceed sales forecasts, gross profit, market share, and budget objectives in the Convenience Channel for BIC North America.
  2. Partner with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Design, Packaging Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal.
  3. Prepare, conduct, and negotiate business planning sessions to achieve short and long-term goals.
  4. Drive key merchandising areas: Distribution, Placement, Price, and Promotion.
  5. Leverage market analytics for decision-making, customer engagement, and thought leadership.
  6. Develop long-term relationships with key customer personnel.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. At least 3 years of selling experience in the consumer products industry, preferably in Convenience.
  3. Experience with HQ accounts (national or regional).
  4. Ability to analyze syndicated sales data (e.g., IRI or Nielsen).
  5. Knowledge of the consumer products industry, sales execution, order management, and logistics.
  6. Understanding of internal functions like Sales, Business Planning, Marketing, and Customer Service.
  7. Willingness to travel approximately 40%.
  8. Reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
