The Role

Are you a dynamic Key Account Manager with a keen interest in Heavy Truck & Bus Services and Fleets? We are looking for a KAM who is passionate about driving success in the industry. If you are, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a significant impact; we want to hear from you.


As part of the Key Account Manager team, you will report to the Business Line Manager and work closely with our Sales Team. This is a remote position located in either Denver, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; or Phoenix, AZ.

As a Key Account Manager for Advance Wheel Solutions, your roles & responsibilities include:

  • Developing a target customer list (Key Accounts) and a sales plan to generate new business in the heavy truck & bus service market, including fleets, OEM aftermarket, OEM dealer network, and independent service garages.
  • Interacting with end users/customers, distributor partners, and field sales to promote and sell CP products in the target market.
  • Identifying our business position within Key Accounts – headquarter location, branch locations, orders received, net invoiced sales, share of wallet, and competition market share.
  • Keeping job skills and market knowledge current through participation in field studies, external educational opportunities, and industry affiliations to provide maximum value to our customers, the sales group, and the company.

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (without a degree, seeking a total of 7 years of work experience in B2B Sales, OEM Aftermarket, OEM Dealer Network, and Independent Service Centers).

Experience

  • 7 years of experience in B2B Sales, OEM Aftermarket, OEM Dealer Network, and Independent Service Centers.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales within Heavy Truck & Bus Services and fleets.

Skills

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, including influencing beyond direct reports (e.g., GM, VP, KCM).
  • Capability to conduct professional presentations and demonstrations.
  • Ability to utilize social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter).

Travel

  • Willingness to travel up to or exceeding 40%, including commercial and overnight travel within the territory.
